May 20, 2019 Lecture by Ms. Mera Haruka and Dr. Alex Keeley 

Ms. Haruka Mera is the founder and CEO of Readyfor, the first and largest crowd funding service in Japan. Readyfor enables many businesses and individuals, many of which intends to have social impact, to acquire the needed funding to initiate the operations.
Dr. Alex Keeley is a former graduate student in the Human Survivability Department in Kyoto University who developed an idea for a small hydro-electronic dam in a site located in a small village in Fukuoka, Kyushu. After several years of development, his idea is finally being realized.
In the panel discussion, both Dr. Keeley and Ms. Haruka shared how and why they developed their innovative and entrepreneurial ideas, which is addressing the Sustainable Development Goals.
