August 19 to 22, 2019　Emergency Management Basic by Associate Professor Maki Fukami and other lecturers

We had “Emergency Management Basic” course from August 19th to 22nd.

During this 4-day intensive course, total of six visiting lecturers were invited by Dr. Fukami and each of them had an excellent lecture based on their own experiences as professionals in the field of Emergency Management.

On August 22nd, there was a lecture by Dr. Fukami in regards to Incident Command System based on materials from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and examinations at the last two classes.

Mr. Junichi Matsuo, Captain of Fire Fighting Division of West Branch Fire Station of Sanda City, Chief Executive Officer International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) Japan

Mr. Bob Jensen, Senior Managing Director, STRAT3 LLC, former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Public Affairs, also held positions on the National Security Council at the White House; Federal Emergency Management Agency, US State Department (US Embassy Baghdad), US Air Force and Department of Defense.
