November 9,2021 “Social Innovation Case Study Analysis”

This lecture focused on the significance of ESG investment and diversity, with a focus on “ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investment to achieve the UN SDG goals” and “Why ESG investment as non-financial information is important? He also provided quantitative and concrete information on the track record of ESG value creation, the future growth of ESG-based assets, and the current rapid growth of ESG investment in Japan. The participants gained a deeper understanding of how ESG investment can support start-ups and revitalise the ecosystem in Japan, thereby balancing the economy and the environment.

In addition, at the end of the lecture, Kathy Matsui’s experience and global perspective gave a message to students: “Don’t choose where you feel comfortable”, which was thought-provoking for future career paths.
